The Essential jacket also features fully taped seams to prevent leaks, Velcro cuffs that may be cinched to keep out the cold, zippered hand pockets for storing small items, and an attached hood that adjusts for better facial coverage. If interior heat must begin to build up, simply open the Pitzips—zippered ventilation openings under the arms—to increase air waft.
