7. Fort Lauderdale, Florida

A quieter and slightly less expensive destination than nearby Miami, Fort Lauderdale is becoming an incredibly popular pick for spring break travelers.

With a 24-mile stretch of beautiful beaches and fantastic restaurants that specialize in seafood and Latin-influenced cuisine, Fort Lauderdale has all the ingredients for a great spring break.

According to Expedia, here are the top three destinations to visit:

San Juan, Puerto Rico

San Juan, Puerto Rico, is one of the minor islands in the Greater Antilles, but it holds a culture and flavor that is immediately recognizable.

From dancing salsa to eating foods like mofongo (fried plantains), the island has tons of character that anyone will appreciate. It’s also extremely close to the United States, making this an easy trip.

Montego Bay, Jamaica

Lastly, we have Montego Bay, Jamaica. There are so many things to do in this city that it’s impossible to explore all of them during one visit.

Luckily, Expedia has announced several destinations offering the most savings for travelers looking to get away this fall.

Expedia looked at average prices for round-trip flights and/or accommodation rates when assembling their list of fall travel deals. Rates were compared between two different periods: between June 1^st and August 30^th, 2022, and between September 6^th and November 15^th, 2022. In doing so, they were able to find the destinations that offered the most significant savings for fall when compared to summer prices.
